I help people with two types of goals:
1. Personal Growth. You feel pretty good, or even great, yet it seems there’s something missing. Or perhaps you’re navigating a new level of success and could use some solid and creative support.
2. Challenges and transitions. You may be dealing with past or recent trauma; anxiety; PTSD; depression; feelings of emptiness or low self-confidence; relationship difficulties; artistic impasse; chronic or terminal illness; existential anxiety; or other concerns.

Psychotherapy
Albert Einstein said, “We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” I’d add that sometimes we don’t use thinking at all. We also feel and sense our way to something new. We stay alert to the subtle, the symbolic. To association and impulse.
Psychoanalysis
The increased session frequency of psychoanalysis is an opportunity for even deeper exploration of patterns of thinking and feeling that isn't as accessible with once or twice weekly appointments.
Spiritual Psychotherapy
I define spirituality as an intimate sense of connection to and participation with the non-material, transcendent, and sacred aspects of existence. It need not have anything to do with formal religion. Although psychotherapy is usually described as secular, attention to the spiritual dimension has been shown to have a positive impact on mental health outcomes. It is a welcome, though certainly not required, exploration in your therapy.
Supervision
Licensed and licensed-eligible clinicians seeking supervision from a self-psychologically informed approach are encouraged to call to discuss supervisory needs.
