About Me
I am a clinical social worker and board certified psychoanalyst licensed in New York, Connecticut, and Florida. I am currently working online with adults and late adolescents. When in-office, I am in Guilford, CT as well as the Union Square neighborhood of New York City, where I have maintained a practice since 2002. While skilled to address a broad range of problems and concerns, special areas of concentration are trauma, anxiety, transitions, the creative process, and personal development.
In addition to my clinical practice in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, my professional experience includes crisis intervention for victims of interpersonal violence and sexual assault, work with homebound elderly and others suffering in the aftermath of the WTC tragedy of 9/11/01, and counseling for families of at-risk teens. I serve as a referral resource for area rape crisis centers as well as art schools and arts organizations. Academic publications include topics relative to self psychology, trauma, and creativity, I also write and speak about personal growth and sexual assault recovery for the general population.
