​Online Therapy 

During this time of great global distress, the ability to connect via video has become such an important resource. I am currently working exclusively online. While different from live sessions, I've found the process to be effective and rewarding, even for those who aren't technologically savvy. 

A benefit of online psychotherapy is the increased availability of off-hours. Whether you're working long days (or nights), or have too much time on your hands, we can probably find an hour that works.

​Online therapy is not the same as an in-office appointment, but it need not be inferior. To get the most out of our appointment, make sure you are in a comfortable, quiet location where you will not be disturbed. Have tissues handy. Put away extraneous electronic devices. If possible, take a short, 15 minute walk or do a little journaling before or after we meet to set the tone and help solidify the experience.

My focus on empathic understanding is the same whether in-office or online.
